Unprecedented four football finals for Sir John

Sir John Leman High are celebrating an amazing achievement from the PE department this year in football.

The Beccles school has four teams that have made it to the County Cup finals. Getting to the final is a prestigious event, but managing to get four teams to the final (two boys and two girls) demonstrates what an amazing achievement this is.

Sir John Leman is the only school in the whole of Suffolk to have four teams in the finals this year, a remarkable achievement.

The first of the four finals was won on 5th May by the Year 9 girls team, the trophy being presented by former England captain, Terry Butcher.

Congratulations go to all pupils and a special mention to Miss Parker, Mr Beales, Mr Ruddock and Mr Peck for getting their teams to the finals.
