National Year of Reading
Introduction
We believe reading is a fundamental skill that all children and adults need to have. Without it, there are so many life options closed off, not only from the pleasure reading gives but from the doors that open.
Just think, without being able to read the recipe, that amazing meal cannot be made. Without being able to read the form, the parent cannot apply for housing support. Without being able to read the book, imaginary worlds cannot be entered.
As a Trust, we are 'going all in' and supporting the National Literacy Trust in hosting a range of events to get people reading.
