Sarah Hartshorn welcomed as new Headteacher of Sir John Leman

Kingfisher Schools Trust has welcomed Sarah Hartshorn as the new Headteacher of Sir John Leman High School and 6th Form College.

Craig Morrison, Chief Executive said: 'Sarah joins us from the start of the summer term 2024 and brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to the role. We are looking forward to supporting Sarah as she takes the school from 'Good' to 'Great'.'

New headteacher, Sarah Hartshorn, commented:

'I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed as the Headteacher of Sir John Leman High School and 6^th Form, it truly is an honour to be the custodian of such a beacon school in the community.  I have felt very welcomed by Kingfisher Schools Trust and the staff and students at the school.  I look forward to continuing to drive forward the school's success, ensuring that students truly thrive on their educational and personal journeys with us.'

Sarah joins the school and trust following an extensive career in school leadership which has seen her improve schools and pupil outcomes in London and Norfolk. Sarah is a Religious Studies teacher by background.
